'Work, work, build a little house' – the Swabians are well-known for their industriousness and enthusiasm for work. What many people don’t know is that they really know how to enjoy themselves.

Attractive festivals are on the agenda every year in the Danube twin cities: Schwörmontag (Oath Monday) with the “Nabada” river festival, the annual fairs and city festivals. Plus the International Danube Festival every two years and the historic Fischerstechen (fishermen’s jousting contest) on the river every four years.

And the best thing is: they don’t like celebrating alone, but love to have lots of visitors, because they are proud of their culture and their events.
