Mama Duna is the poetic motto for the Danube Festival 2010, because the Danube area adheres more and more and is the cradle of an incomparable European Diversity. This diversity can be experienced at the banks of the Danube where a variety of different cultures, dances and lifestyles will be presented.
It is for the sixth time, that the Einstein-Marathon takes place in Ulm. Thousands of runners take the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary and exhausting event. The course of more than 42 km ends at the famous Minster Square in the city centre.

Emission stickers - Low emissions zones in Ulm and Neu-Ulm
To improve the quality of life and the environment, Ulm has and Neu-Ulm is about to implement new Low Emission Zones into which only vehicles displaying an “Emission sticker” (Umwelt Plakette) are allowed to enter. Vehicles entering a Green Zone and not obtaining a sticker are likely to be fined 40 €. The sticker costs between 5-10 € and can be obtained through the following link.
