In Neu-Ulm they turn back time during advent season. Historical stalls, amongst others a bath house and a hand operated mini "ferris-wheel" fill up the location of the old "Flussmeisterei" and create an atmosphere to immerge into "Past Times".

150th anniversary of the Federal Fortifications in Ulm/Neu-Ulm
Due to this anniversary the cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm as well as the association of the federal fortification have organised a lot of events showing the meaning and the particularity of the fortifications. Furthermore, a loop trail has been implemented which connects all remaining parts in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
Emission stickers - Low emissions zones in Ulm and Neu-Ulm
To improve the quality of life and the environment, Ulm has and Neu-Ulm is about to implement new Low Emission Zones into which only vehicles displaying an “Emission sticker” (Umwelt Plakette) are allowed to enter. Vehicles entering a Green Zone and not obtaining a sticker are likely to be fined 40 €. The sticker costs between 5-10 € and can be obtained through the following link.
