Glacis Park (Glacis Stadtpark)

In Neu-Ulm´s “Glacis-Stadtpark”, which in 1980 was an important part of the state flower shows of Neu Ulm and Ulm, impressive walls of the federal fortifications and of Neu Ulm´s landmark – “der Wasserturm” can be seen.
Walter Zeischeggs´s sculpture from 1980 is located directly adjacent to the plaque describing the federal fortifications.

A large children’s playground, fascinating water-games, a restaurant and the “Römervilla” in art nouveu style with its adjoining tower-like pavilion, create the right atmosphere for relaxation and amusement in the park.

The park also boasts a concert stage (on the water) with terraces for spectators, where in the summer numerous events and concerts, ranging from classic to rock, take place.
