CityBikeRoute
How about a leisurely city tour? Ulm/Neu-Ulm is a great place to explore by bike: On the signposted 'StadtRad-Route' (city cycle route), you will gain completely new impressions.
Over a distance of 12 kilometres, the 79 bright green signs guide you to beautiful and historically significant sights, parks and squares in both cities. The route leads to Ulm Minster with the highest church tower in the world, then northwards to the Old Cemetery/Paul's Church and the Einstein Fountain before continuing into the green Friedrichsau with its zoo and the Danube.
Cross over the Gänstorbrücke bridge into Bavaria and get to know Neu-Ulm: Maxplatz, Caponniere 4 as part of the federal fortress and the church of St Johann Baptist welcome you. A postcard view of Ulm awaits you on the banks of the Danube at the Edwin-Scharff-Haus.
If you like, you can extend the route here and cycle towards Wiblingen to the monastery of the same name. Back across the Danube, you cross the romantic fishermen's and tanners' quarter in Ulm. Cycle past the historic town hall, the Ulm Museum (closed due to renovation, the Lion Man is currently on display in the Kunsthalle Weishaupt) with the Lion Man and the pyramid-shaped library before returning to Münsterplatz.
