Storm the castle

From 25 July to 10 August 2025, Wilhelmsburg Castle can be stormed for the eight year in a row! As last summer, "Storm the Castle" is dedicated to #kulturerhalten and offers creative artists a long-awaited stage and space to present music, literature, theatre, dance, art and children's programmes.

Stage programme, theatre, installations & other highlights
The relaxed beer garden with summer stage of "Stürmt die Burg" invites you to the inner courtyard of Wilhelmsburg. Every Thursday to Sunday, numerous bands, solo artists, writers and actors perform on the small stage.
This year, there is a lot on offer not only on stage, but also off stage! Installations in the rooms of the Federal Fortress and in the Open Tower can also be discovered. The exhibitions and projects by local and national artists will take you on a journey into the history of Wilhelmsburg and offer new audiovisual experiences in the castle throughout the entire event period.
