Ulm/Neu-Ulm Fortifications Route

Along the main ramparts of the federal fortifications, the fortifications route invites you to walk along and explore. With a total length of approx. 12.5 kilometres, it connects the individual, existing buildings of the circular fortifications and leads to a large extent through the Ulm and Neu-Ulm Glacis park. 32 panels at prominent fortifications along the signposted path provide information about their origin, function and post-military use.
