Ulm Theatre

Ulm Theatre is the cultural centre of the city. The theatre has three departments offering high artistic quality in the fields of opera, operetta, drama and ballet.

The large theatre has 815 seats and the Podium studio stage has up to 200 seats. The Junge Forum specialises in productions for children and young people.

The theatre is located in the Herbert-von-Karajan-Square – and not without reason: the great conductor was musical director here at Ulm Theatre for several years.
