Friedrichsau Park Ulm
Since 1811, this park on the banks of the Danube has been the largest green area in Neu-Ulm and Ulm.
Over a total length of 2 kilometres, Friedrichsau Park, with its collection of old trees and small lakes, provides plenty of space for relaxation.
There is clock golf to play and numerous children’s playgrounds are favourites for the children.
There are several beer gardens and restaurants that are open all year round for food and drink.
In the zoo and aquarium with the troparium you can see a wide variety of animals – from kangaroos to blue frogs – in almost 100 individual units. A new addition to the aquarium is the walk-through, glass tunnel.
In May, Friedrichsau Park is the venue for the “Ulmer Zelt”, a big cultural festival in the circus tent and in July, it hosts the “Ulmer Volksfest”.
From Friedrichsau Park, you can take a circular boat trip on the Danube, from where you can see Ulm and Neu-Ulm from a different perspective.
